Comanche
Pilot Training is a different way of interacting with Zoom
attendees, offering a
three pronged approach to
improvement within the Comanche Pilot community.
The first type is a monthly
Comanche Webinar where a selected group of
attendees (~10) will participate in 1.5 hour
pilot flying skills
(Table Top
training) through small-group scenario-based
discussions with a Certified Flight Instructor.
The focus will cover real-world emergency and
abnormal procedures..Other
pilots will attend as
cold mike, non-interacting observers.
The second is a series of
Flight Scenarios now under development.
Registered pilots will
be given a plan for individual activities to be
carried out by them over the subsequent month. These
activities will be reviewed in the next Training
Zoom, and further planned activities presented.
The third is a series of
Maintenance
Evaluation clinics where a Comanche expert
A&P or DER will guide participating aircraft
owners and mechanics through the tools and procedures
used to measure components on your plane. These
in-person events will be held in various
locations throughout the country.
The
overall objective is to
enhance the safety record of the Comanche Pilot
community through structured discussions of
emergency/abnormal procedures
and techniques.
